Windows 8 Troubleshoot

OpenVPN not working on Win 8.1 Pro - V6.3, Build 9600 (6.3.9600.16384.WINBLUE):

This certain Windows 8 version is using a preinstalled TAP adapter driver that is misconfigured by default.
This is caused by a preinstalled app called "KMSpico" and a service called "KMSELDI".

The WorldVPN client's connection log may show:
I: NETSH: C:\Windows\system32\netsh.exe interface ip set address TunnelTap dhcp
W: ERROR: netsh command failed: returned error code 1

We recommend using this permanent solution:
1. Change the IPV4 Properties for the TAP adapter (TunnelTap) to "Obtain an IP address automatically".
2. Turn off the system service "KMSELDI" using msconfig.exe in the System Configuration.
