How To Setup OpenVPN on Windows
Download and Install OpenVPN Client
Go to the OpenVPN community
downloads page
Download the appropriate version of the OpenVPN client for your Windows system (32-bit or 64-bit)
Follow the installation instructions to install the OpenVPN client on your computer.
Download VPN Profile
Visit this
link
and download the ZIP file containing the OpenVPN profile.
Once downloaded, extract the contents of the ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
Connect to VPN
Launch the OpenVPN client. You can find it in your Windows start menu or desktop shortcut.
Right-click on the OpenVPN GUI icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen).
Select "Import file..." from the context menu and navigate to the folder where you extracted the contents of the ZIP file.
Choose the configuration file (with a .ovpn extension) that you want to use and click "Open" to import it into the OpenVPN client.
Connect to the VPN Server
Once the profile is imported, right-click on the OpenVPN GUI icon again in the system tray.
Select the profile you just imported from the list of available connections.
Click on "Connect" to initiate the VPN connection.
Enter your VPN credentials when prompted.
Verify Connection
After a few moments, the OpenVPN client should display a successful connection message.
Disconnecting from VPN
To disconnect from the VPN, right-click on the OpenVPN GUI icon in the system tray.
Select the connected profile and click "Disconnect."
